Operation Goard & Giggles: Two Mamas, Three Babies, and a Whole Lotta Chaos!
🎃
Okay, guys, get ready for a photo adventure that's equal parts adorable and chaotic!
My sister-in-law Haley (who's also an amazing photographer - check out her work here!) and I decided to brave taking pumpkin photos with our little crew: my 4-month-old, Jacob, and her 1-year-old, Piper, and 2-month-old, Wes. (Yes, we were absolutely outnumbered! )
First things first, the pumpkins! We snagged these HUGE bad boys from Sam's Club for a whopping $6 each. I went full-on DIY and carved leg holes in mine, while Haley opted for a simpler approach for tiny Wes.
Fast forward to the park—the weather was looking a little ominous. Overcast skies threatened to unleash a downpour at any second, but thankfully, the rain was on our side (for now!).
Jacob was up first, and he was a total rockstar! Full of smiles and rocking those adorable overalls (look at those arm rolls too!).
Get me some butter for those rolls 🧈
Then it was Wes' turn... let's just say we underestimated how much that little man had grown! He could barely squeeze into his pumpkin! We ended up putting him in Jacob's, but he was NOT having it.
Such a cutie pumpkin pie!
And Piper? Well, she was just perfect in her own pretty, candid way (as always ♡).
After all the crouching and posing, Haley and I were definitely feeling the burn (and the sweat!). Thankfully as we were leaving the park, the skies opened up and it POURED! Talk about perfect timing!
Despite the near-rain experience and a slightly grumpy two-month-old, we managed to pull off a successful photoshoot. And let's be honest, the photos are totally worth all the chaos! Scroll down for some serious cuteness overload! 😍
